Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (leveled)
- 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of kosher salt
- 1 cup of butter (unsalted)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Preparation
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a whisk to combine the flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Use an electric mixer to beat the sugar and butter on medium-high speed for 3 minutes.
- Add the eggs (one by one) and add vanilla.
- Decrease the speed to low, add the flour, and mix.
- Drop dough on baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake them for 15 minutes.
- Allow them to cool and serve.
This recipe is very confusing. It says 1 1/4 cups of sugar in list of ingredients, then tells you to put granulated sugar in with flour. Next sentence you are mixing granulated sugar (1 cup) with butter. Then later it says use rest of granulated sugar with cinnamon, what rest of granulated sugar? These cookies better be edible after wasting all of these ingredients!!!
