Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour (leveled)
- 1/4 tsp of salt (kosher)
- 1 cup of butter (unsalted)
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of pecans (chopped)
Preparation
- Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine sale and flour in a bowl.
- Use an electric mixer to beat the sugar and butter on medium-high speed.
- Add in the vanilla.
- Decrease the speed, add the flour mixture, and mix.
- Add in the pecans and mix.
- Use a spoon to place dough on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
- Bake them for 20 minutes.
- Let them cool down before serving.
This recipe is very confusing. It says 1 1/4 cups of sugar in list of ingredients, then tells you to put granulated sugar in with flour. Next sentence you are mixing granulated sugar (1 cup) with butter. Then later it says use rest of granulated sugar with cinnamon, what rest of granulated sugar? These cookies better be edible after wasting all of these ingredients!!!
