Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour (leveled)
- 3/4 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ½ cup of butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup of light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of confectioners’ sugar
Preparation
- Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a whisk to combine coco powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Use an electric mixer to beat the brown sugar and butter on medium-high high speed for 3 minutes.
- Add the eggs to the bowl and beat.
- Decrease the speed and add flour mixture.
- Make dough balls, roll them in the sugar, and keep them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Space them 2 inches apart.
- Bake the cookies for 15 minutes.
- Allow them to cool and serve.
This recipe is very confusing. It says 1 1/4 cups of sugar in list of ingredients, then tells you to put granulated sugar in with flour. Next sentence you are mixing granulated sugar (1 cup) with butter. Then later it says use rest of granulated sugar with cinnamon, what rest of granulated sugar? These cookies better be edible after wasting all of these ingredients!!!
