Chewy And Huge Chocolate Chip Cookies(2 of 8)

This is no ordinary recipe of chocolate chip cookies, but it is “the” recipe. These chocolate chips cookies are extra big and extra chewy.
Bake these chocolate delights at home today!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 3/4 cup of melted butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups of chocolate (semisweet)
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
- Sift salt, baking soda, and flour together and put it aside.
- Combine brown sugar, butter, and white sugar in a bowl.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla, and egg yolk.
- Add in the sifted ingredients into the mixture.
- Add in the chocolate chips.
- Drop 1/4 cup of dough on the baking sheet, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
- Bake for 17 minutes, let them cool, and serve.
This recipe is very confusing. It says 1 1/4 cups of sugar in list of ingredients, then tells you to put granulated sugar in with flour. Next sentence you are mixing granulated sugar (1 cup) with butter. Then later it says use rest of granulated sugar with cinnamon, what rest of granulated sugar? These cookies better be edible after wasting all of these ingredients!!!
