Ingredients
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour (leveled)
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 2 tsp of cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp of salt (kosher)
- 1 cup of butter (unsalted)
- 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 tsp of ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine baking soda, granulated sugar, flour, salt, and cream of tartar in a bowl.
- Use an electric mixer to beat the brown sugar, butter, and granulated sugar (1 cup) on medium-high speed for 3 minutes.
- Beat in the vanilla, eggs, and decrease speed.
- Add the flour and mix.
- Mix the cinnamon and the rest of the granulated sugar in a bowl.
- Place dough ball on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 14 minutes.
- Let them cool down and serve.
This recipe is very confusing. It says 1 1/4 cups of sugar in list of ingredients, then tells you to put granulated sugar in with flour. Next sentence you are mixing granulated sugar (1 cup) with butter. Then later it says use rest of granulated sugar with cinnamon, what rest of granulated sugar? These cookies better be edible after wasting all of these ingredients!!!
