If you workout in the morning, you should definitely try these delicious turkey wraps. The recipe is simple to make and contains protein and has little fat. These mouthwatering wraps are made with whole-wheat, which makes the meal evermore healthy.
Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Whole wheat tortillas (6 in number, 8 inches in diameter)
- 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Deli turkey (12 thin slices)
- Tomato (1 large sized tomato will do, but it needs to be seeded and diced)
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups iceberg lettuce (finely shredded)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese with chives
Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and mustard.
- Now spread 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the tortillas.
- Now place ¼ cup of shredded lettuce over each tortilla.
- Add 2 turkey slices on each tortilla and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Add tomato, bacon, and avocado slices to each tortilla and roll it up tightly.
- Cut the tortillas in half and enjoy the delicious and fulfilling post-workout meal.
