  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed


  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and place the rack in the upper-third section.
  2. Dry the rinsed chickpeas and place in a bowl.
  3. Toss with oil, marjoram, cumin, salt, and allspice.
  4. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and place in the oven.
