Prosciutto And Mushroom Pizza(3 of 6)

Don’t know what appetizer you will serve to your guests? You can serve them with a prosciutto and mushroom pizza.
If some of your dinner guests are vegetarians, you can make two pizzas, one with mushrooms and prosciutto and one with only mushrooms minus the prosciutto.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. of cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 tsp of thyme (chopped)
- 2 tsp of sherry vinegar
- 10 oz. Italian thin pizza crust (cheese-flavored)
- 2 oz. of prosciutto (sliced into strips)
- 1/3 cup of fontina cheese (shredded)
- 1/4 cup of shallots (chopped finely)
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place a skillet (12-inch) over medium-high heat.
- Use cooking spray to coat the pan.
- Include shallots and mushrooms into the skillet and sauté for about 7 minutes.
- Include thyme, garlic, and sauté for another minute.
- Add in vinegar and take the skillet off the stove.
- Put the crust on the oven’s lowest rack to bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 4 minutes.
- Put the crust on the baking sheet.
- Evenly spread the mushroom mixture over the entire crust.
- Sprinkle fontina cheese and prosciutto on the crust.
- Bake for about 6 minutes and serve.
