Ingredients

  • 8 ounces frozen berries of your choice
  • 4 ounces cream of wheat
  • 5 ounces granulated sugar
  • 3 ¼ cups water
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt
  • Dairy-free milk for serving

Preparation

  1. In a pot, combine the berries and water, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once it reaches a boiling temperature, whisk in salt and sugar, and the cream.
  3. Let the mixture simmer stirring constantly.
  4. Remove the pot from heat after 5 minutes and set it aside to cool down.
  5. Whisk the porridge until it is completely smooth and fluffy.
  6. Enjoy the porridge with milk and if you like, sprinkle some fresh berries on top.
