Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars(5 of 10)

Potato chips are a tasty alternative to the oats typically found in granola bars. Protein-packed peanut butter and crunchy peanuts help keep you full and energized all day long.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free cup-for-cup blend
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup grape or strawberry jelly
- 1 cup crushed kettle chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Preparation
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and peanut butter until a crust is formed.
- Press the crust into a 9 x 12 baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Top the crust with a layer of jelly.
- Place crushed kettle chips, peanuts, and peanut butter tips on top of the jelly.
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.

That’s not Mac n Cheese in the pic, it looks like Tuna Casserole….but still yummy with crushed chips on top. I prefer sour cream and onion on my Tuna Casserole. Mmmmmmm!!!
