Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground sirloin
  • 2 tbsp of pickled jalapeño peppers (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp juice of pickled jalapeño pepper
  • 1 tsp of salt (kosher)
  • 6 slices of thick bacon
  • 1 sliced sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup of peach chutney
  • 4 oz. of softened goat cheese
  • 6 toasted hamburger buns
  • 1 sliced peach
  • Basil leaves

Preparation

  1. Preheat your grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine the top four ingredients together and mold them into 4-inch patties.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-heat for 8 minutes.
  4. Take out the bacon, drain them in paper towels, and reserve 2 tbsp of drippings in the skillet.
  5. Turn the heat to medium high and sauté the onions in the bacon drippings for about 6 minutes.
  6. Rake it off heat and add peach chutney.
  7. Grill each side of the patty for about 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle it with cheese and serve it on buns with bacon, basil leaves, peach, and onion mixture.
