Roasted green beans are a delicious side dish that takes very little time to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of fresh green beans
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of harissa paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons of sliced almonds, for garnish
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil and harissa.
- Add the green beans and toss until they are completely coated, then season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange green beans in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring every 5 or 6 minutes, until the beans are lightly browned and slightly wilted.
- Remove the pan from the oven, and transfer the green beans to a serving bowl.
- Top with sliced almonds.
