5) Beef Gravy With Boiled Rice (5 of 6)

Ingredients
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 cups of prepared boiled rice
- 3 cups of beef broth
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1 pound of sirloin tip steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 onion (sliced)
Preparation
- Slice the beef into 1-inch cubes.
- Place a saucepan on the stove over medium heat.
- Add oil into it.
- Add the beef, onions, and stir.
- Include the beef broth and bring it to a boil.
- Cover the pan, decrease the heat to medium-low, and let it simmer for 1 hour.
- Combine cornstarch and cold water in a bowl and stir.
- Gradually add the cornstarch into the pan with the beef and stir.
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve it over rice.
