Ingredients

  • Parmesan cheese (grated), ¼ cup
  • Whole milk, 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour, 2 tbsp
  • Butter, 2 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper, ¼ tsp
  • Granulated sugar, 2 tbsp
  • Heavy cream, 1 cup
  • Salt, 1 tsp
  • Frozen corn kernels (thawed) 2 pkg.

Preparation

  1. Place a skillet over low-med heat. Add corn, butter, sugar, and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and milk and add to the corn mixture. Stir well. Continue cooking for 4-5 minutes on low-med heat until corn is cooked and mixture has thickened.
  3. Stir in parmesan cheese and continue cooking until cheese has melted. Stir and cook for another minute and serve hot!
