Stir Fried Green Beans With Parsley And Lemon(4 of 6)

Ingredients
- White sugar, a pinch
- Lemon zest, 1 tbsp
- Green beans (fresh), 1 lb
- Fresh parsley (chopped), ¼ cup
- Butter, 2 tbsp
- Salt, to taste
- Olive oil, 2 tsp
- Black pepper, to taste
- Garlic (minced), 2 tsp
Preparation
- Bring salted water to a gentle boil. Stir in beans and add sugar. Stir well. Cook for 3-5 minutes until beans are tender and bright green. Drain and give an ice bath to stop cooking immediately.
- Place a skillet over med-high heat. Stir in olive oil and butter. Let butter melt. Add garlic and continue cooking until fragrant. Stir in bans, mix and cook for 2-4 minutes until beans are wilted.
- Stir in lemon zest and parsley and toss all the ingredients together until coated. Heat through by cooking for another minute. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with more parsley and serve it as a side dish to your favorite steak.
