Ingredients

Servings: 8 – 10

  • 8 cups of bread (cubed)
  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg

Preparation

Total prep time: 10 minutes

Total cook time: 3 hours

  1. Place raisins and bread in a slow cooker.
  2. Place eggs, milk, butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture over raisins and bread.
  4. Coat the bread with the mixture.
  5. Cook in the slow cooker on low for 3 hours.
  6. Insert a knife in the bread cooking and if it comes out clean, the pudding is cooked.
  7. Serve it.
