Ingredients
Servings: 8 – 10
- 8 cups of bread (cubed)
- 1 cup of raisins
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup of butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
Preparation
Total prep time: 10 minutes
Total cook time: 3 hours
- Place raisins and bread in a slow cooker.
- Place eggs, milk, butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over raisins and bread.
- Coat the bread with the mixture.
- Cook in the slow cooker on low for 3 hours.
- Insert a knife in the bread cooking and if it comes out clean, the pudding is cooked.
- Serve it.
The recipe directions do not make sense – do you pour the butter/rum mixture over the bananas while in the crockpot at some point? Also, would love to see the other recipes, but where do you click, I keep ending up on ads?
