Lemon-Honey Pan-Seared T-bone Steak(6 of 6)

Ingredients
- T-bone steak, 1 ½ lb
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Barbecue sauce, ½ cup
- Beer, ¼ cup
- Vegetable oil, 2 tbsp
- Honey, ½ cup
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Lemon rind (grated), 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Combine barbecue sauce, vegetable oil, honey, lemon juice, and lemon rind in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Add salt and pepper and mix.
- Apply this mixture on the T-bone steak and rub to adjust flavors well. Marinate for 2 hours.
- Grease a large skillet. Add marinated steak over med-high heat. Cook for 5 minutes on one side undisturbed. Flip and continue cooking on the other side until it reaches desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and place on a serving platter.
- Cover with foil for 10 minutes and let the flavors absorb nicely.
- Serve warm with mashed potatoes on the side and more crushed black pepper on the top.
