Juicy Asian-Style Steak With Veggies(2 of 6)

The authentic Asian flavors not only give a hint of spice to this juicy steak recipe but it tends to hit a lot of spots on the tongue because of its amazing blend of flavors including garlic, herbs, fish sauce and chile sauce. Try it out!
Ingredients
- Flank steaks (boneless), 6 servings
- Vegetable oil, ½ cup
- Lime zest (grated), 1 tsp
- Lemon zest (grated), 1 tsp
- Asian fish sauce, 2 tbsp
- 8 garlic cloves
- Asian chile sauce, 2 tbsp
- Cilantro leaves, ¼ cup
- Basil leaves, ¼ cup
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Vegetable mix (sautéed), 1 cup for serving
Preparation
- Add cilantro, basil, fish sauce, garlic and chili sauce in a food processor. Pulse until chopped and well incorporated. Add lime and lemon zest along with the oil and pulse again to mix well.
- Use this marinade to apply on the steaks. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to up to 24 hours.
- To prepare, light a grill and grease with some oil. Place the marinated steaks over med-high heat and cook for 8 minutes on a side before flipping it. The time could vary depending on your desired doneness. When done, transfer to a platter.
- Cover with foil and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve warm and juicy with sautéed veggies on the side.
