Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of white sugar
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 can of stewed tomatoes along with liquid
- 2 large roughly chopped green bell peppers
- ½ cup of chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- ¼ cup of hot water
- 1 cube of beef bouillon
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Garlic powder added according to individual taste
- 2 pounds of beef sirloin that is cut in strips of two inches
Preparation
- Sprinkle the sirloin strips using garlic powder that needs to be added to taste. Take a skillet and place it over medium heat. In this, you can heat vegetable oil. Place seasoned beef strips and brown them. Transfer this inside a slow cooker.
- Mix the bouillon cube in hot water until it gets dissolved. Then mix cornstarch until it gets dissolved. Pour the mixture inside the slow cooker containing meat. Stir this in salt, sugar, soy sauce, stewed tomatoes, green peppers, and onion.
- Cover this and cook for three to four hours on high temperature or six to eight hours on low temperature.
