This recipe is very easy to make and the pot roast turns out to be absolutely delicious. In the process, its own gravy is made and it is designed especially for a person who is busy and does not have an entire day to do their cooking.
Ingredients
- 5 ½ pounds of pot roast
- 1 ¼ cups of water
- 1 package of dry onion soup mix
- 2 cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
- Using a slow cooker, mix together water, dry onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup. Place this pot roast inside the slow cooker and then coat it with the soup mixture.
- Cook this on a high heat setting for about three to four hours or on a reduced heat setting for about eight to nine hours.
