Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of Heath chocolate (crushed)
- 8 cups of low-fat vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 4 cups of Rice Chex
- 2 cups of Cheerios
- 2/3 cups of dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of almonds (slivered and toasted)
- 1/3 cup of sweetened coconut (flaked and toasted)
- 2 tbsp of butter (melted)
Preparation
- Add the crushed chocolate into the ice cream, cover it, and freeze it to use later.
- Combine brown sugar, cereal, almonds, coconut, and butter in a bowl and stir to combine.
- Press 1/2 of the cereal mixture in the bottom of a baking pan.
- Allow the ice cream to stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Spread the cereal mixture over the cereal mixture.
- Top it with the rest of the cereal mixture.
- Cover it and place it in the freeze for 8 hours or one day.
- Serve.
