Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of Heath chocolate (crushed)
  • 8 cups of low-fat vanilla ice cream (softened)
  • 4 cups of Rice Chex
  • 2 cups of Cheerios
  • 2/3 cups of dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of almonds (slivered and toasted)
  • 1/3 cup of sweetened coconut (flaked and toasted)
  • 2 tbsp of butter (melted)

Preparation

  1. Add the crushed chocolate into the ice cream, cover it, and freeze it to use later.
  2. Combine brown sugar, cereal, almonds, coconut, and butter in a bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Press 1/2 of the cereal mixture in the bottom of a baking pan.
  4. Allow the ice cream to stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  5. Spread the cereal mixture over the cereal mixture.
  6. Top it with the rest of the cereal mixture.
  7. Cover it and place it in the freeze for 8 hours or one day.
  8. Serve.
