Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Lemon pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds of salmon fillets

Preparation

  1. Season the salmon fillets using salt, garlic powder, and lemon pepper.
  2. Take a small bowl and stir vegetable oil, water, brown sugar, and soy sauce together until the complete dissolving of sugar. Place the fish in a resealable and large plastic bag with soy sauce mixture and then seal it. Refrigerate this for around 2 hours at least.
  3. Preheat the grill using medium heat.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the salmon on the grill and then discard marinade. Cook this for around 6 to 8 minutes on each side until the fish has become flaky when tested with a fork.
  5. You can use aluminum foil if you wish to coo the food evenly, keep it moist, and make cleaning up after easier.
