Ingredients

  • Ground beef, 1 ½ lbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium-sized onion, grated
  • Flat-leaf parsley (chopped), ½ cup
  • Parmesan (grated), ½ cup
  • Bread crumbs, ½ cup
  • Tomato paste, ¼ cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix ground beef with onion, egg, parsley, parmesan, bread crumbs and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Transfer to a loaf pan and smooth on the top.
  3. Set to bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F. Bake for 50 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Slice and serve!
