In search of a lunch box recipe that is healthy, delicious, and easy to make? This low-fat pasta salad is the best lunch to take to work. This recipe will keep you from gaining those extra pounds. The best part about this recipe is that you can add your favorite ingredients to it.

Ingredients

  • A 250g pack of pasta
  • One pack chopped parsley
  • One lemon zest and juice
  • 140g of frozen peas
  • One small pack snipped chives
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta in a bowl, and once it is about to be cooked, add peas and cook for two more minutes.
  2. Drain the peas and the pasta, and rinse with cold water and drain again.
  3. In a separate bowl, add all the herbs and other ingredients.
  4. Add the pasta and the peas into the bowl with all the ingredients.
  5. Season it with olive oil and toss so that everything is mixed well.
  6. You can also add something creamy into the pasta before you add it into your lunch box.
