Vegan Tacos(5 of 5)

Ingredients
- ¾ cup water
- 1 tbspn taco seasoning
- ½ tbspn dried minced onions or 1 tspn onion powder
- 1 cup TVP (textured vegetable protein)
- 1 can of black beans, drained
- Salt
- Tortillas
- Toppings (all optional): Avocado slices, cilantro, salsa, limes, red onion, etc.
Preparation
- Boil water, onion, and seasoning.
- Add the TVP and reduce heat to low.
- Allow the TVP to absorb the liquid.
- Add beans.
- Cover and cook on low heat. Stir.
- Add salt.
- Heat up the tortillas either in a pan or on a grill.
- Remove the filling from the heat and build your tacos using your choice of garnishes.
