Ingredients

  • 1 bottle or can of Mountain Dew
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups of white sugar
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 large cored and peeled granny smith apples

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C and grease a baking dish of 9×13 inches.
  2. Each of the apples needs to be cut into eight wedges and then you can set these aside. Separate crescent roll dough in triangles. Roll each of the apple wedges inside the crescent roll dough and you start with the smallest end. Punch these so that you can seal them and then place these inside a baking dish.
  3. Melt some butter inside a saucepan and then stir with it cinnamon and sugar. Pour this on top of the apple dumplings and pour the Mountain Dew on these dumplings.
  4. Bake this for around 35 to 45 minutes inside the preheated oven until then become golden brown.
