The recipe to this mouth-watering drink is simple and can be enjoyed during any social gathering.
Note: The margarita base should be prepared 8 hours before serving time. You can make the base a week before your event. You can make simple syrup by heating equal volumes of sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces (1/4 cup) high quality Triple Sec
- 4 ounces (1/2 cup) silver tequila (100% agave)
- 2 1/2 ounces juice from 4 to 5 limes (5 tablespoons)
- 4 ounces simple syrup (1/2 cup)
- 12 ounces ice (about 3 cups)
Preparation
- In a medium-sized sealable container, add lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and simple syrup, and mix well.
- Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
- When it is time to serve, add ice and tequila mixture into the blender.
- Keep blending the mixture until perfectly smooth.
- Enjoy the chilled drink with friends.
