Ingredients
Servings: 2 – 3
- 2 large boneless chicken fillets
- Olive oil, ¼ cup
- Balsamic vinegar, ¼ cup
- Garlic (roughly chopped), 1 large clove
- Fresh parsley (minced), 1 tbsp
- Fresh basil (minced), 1 tbsp
- Red chili flakes, ½ tsp + more for garnish
- Honey, 1 tbsp
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
Total prep time: 15 minutes; Total cook time: 20 minutes
- Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, parsley, basil, honey, and chili flakes in a mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper and whisk to incorporate all the ingredients together.
- Poke holes in the chicken and place them in the bowl and coat well. Refrigerate and let sit for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- To prepare, preheat the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side. Flip once and cook on the other side until fully cooked.
- Remove from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on the top and some additional chili flakes and serve warm.
