Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 6 tbsp of cocoa powder (unsweetened and sifted)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp of butter (unsalted and melted)
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar (sifted)
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cups of dry and non-fat milk powder
- Wax sheet
Preparation
- Combine cocoa powder, vanilla, and honey in a bowl using a whisk.
- Add in the melted butter and whisk.
- Add the sugar, 1 pinch of salt, and whisk.
- Use a wooden spoon to mix 1/4 cup of milk powder at a time.
- Knead the hardened mixture with your hands.
- Form a ball with the dough and place it on wax paper already coated with oil.
- Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
- When the dough becomes a disc, you need to cut it into to 3/4 inch long strips, cut it into 2-inch strips, and cut the wax sheet into 3 1/2 X 5-inch parts.
- Cover the candies with the pieces of wax sheet.
- Place them in the fridge.
- Serve at room temperature.
