Ingredients

  • Milk, 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour, ¼ cup
  • Salt, a pinch
  • 3 large-sized eggs
  • Ground cinnamon, ½ tsp
  • White sugar, 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract, 1 tsp
  • Thick bread, 12 slices

Directions

  1. Add flour in a large glass bowl. Stir in milk and eggs. Whisk to combine the ingredients well.
  2. Add salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon and sugar in the mixture and continue to whisk until well incorporated.
  3. Place a nonstick frying pan over low-med heat. Add oil.
  4. Soak thick bread slices in the mixture and let it absorb. Lift the slice and place it in the frying pan cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
