A healthy, delicious salmon recipe prepared with a unique garlic-lemon marinade. The combination of flavors will give the perfect taste to your regular salmon. Grill or broil and enjoy the herb-based flavors of the wild salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Onion powder, 1 tbsp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, ¼ cup
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, 1 tsp
  • Garlic (minced), 4 cloves
  • White balsamic vinegar, 3 tbsp
  • Green onions (chopped), 2 tbsp
  • White sugar, 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice, ¼ cup
  • Cilantro (chopped), 2 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Season salmon fillets with onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Set on a prepared baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Stir in sugar, cilantro, and green onions. Whisk until thoroughly incorporated. Pour the marinade over salmon and rub to spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
  3. To prepare, set the oven to preheat at 450 degrees F.
  4. Arrange salmon on a broiling pan. Set to roast for 5 minutes. Adjust heat and increase to 500 degrees F. Remove from oven, turn fillets and broil for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
