4) Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak (4 of 5)

Ingredients
- ¾ cups of water
- 1 packet of dry au jus mix
- 2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- ¼ cup of all purpose flour
- ¼ cup of milk
- ½ cup of Italian and seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 envelop mix of dry onion soup
- 2 pounds of lean ground beef
Preparation
- Take a large bowl and mix ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, and onion soup mix with your hands. Shape this in 8 patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet using medium to high heat and dredge these patties in flour for coating purposes. Brown both the sides quickly in heated skillet. Place these browned patties within a slow cooker and stack them like a pyramid.
- Take a medium bowl and mix au jus mix, water, and cream of chicken soup together. Pour this mixture on the meat and cook for about 4 to 5 hours using low heat or until the ground beef becomes well done.
