Ingredients
- Orange juice, ¼ cup
- Lime rind (grated), 1 tsp
- Lime juice, 2 tbsp
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Oregano (dried), 2 tsp
- Cumin (ground), 1 tsp
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 4 boneless steaks
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except for steak and combine well.
- Add steaks to the bowl and toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. You can refrigerate to 24 hours in advance if you like.
- To prepare, grill over a greased grilling pan. Cook on each side until it reaches desirable doneness. The cooking time will vary according to the type of meat you choose.
- When done, transfer to a platter and serve with your favorite side. A mix of green veggies and some French fries will enhance the flavors.
