Ingredients
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1/4 cup of hot pepper sauce
- 4 chicken breast halves (boneless and skinless)
- 1 cup of dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of cornstarch
- 1 tsp of white sugar
- 1 tsp of garlic salt
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
Preparation
- Combine hot pepper sauce and buttermilk in a bowl.
- Place chicken in the bowl and coat it with the mixture.
- Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for about 8 hours or for one day.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine flour breadcrumbs, flour, onion powder, white sugar, garlic salt, salt, black pepper, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, and paprika in another bowl.
- Coat the chicken with the mixture.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and cook it for about 7 minutes on each side.
- Place the chicken on a baking dish and bake it for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
