It is hard to not go too far with the whipping. It is easy to get overboard with butter and whipping while preparing whipped cream. But here’s the right way to get them soft peaks that look fluffy and feel smooth:

  • If you want the perfect whipped cream, you got to use heavy cream only. Choose a cream with a label that says heavy whipping cream.
  • You will need two tablespoons of granulated sugar per cup of heavy cream used.
  • Now take a chilled bowl and beat the cream and sugar using an electric mixer on high. Keep beating until visible lines are drawn over the cream from the beater.
  • Continue to beat the cream on medium-low speed until soft peaks are formed.
  • And if you go overboard with the whipping, you can always add a little fresh cream to the mixture and fold it in using a spatula.
  • When the mixture reaches a smooth consistency and soft texture, it is time to stop.
