The delicious bread pudding that you all have grown to love has become one of the favorite desserts of chocolate fans.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 3 cups low-fat milk
- 3 lightly beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup of cocoa powder (presweetened)
- 3/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
- 5 cups of dried multigrain bread cubes (about 1/2-inch in size)
- Cooking spray
Preparation
- Use cooking spray to coat the slow cooker.
- Combine milk to heat in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Take it off the heat and include the cocoa powder, the chocolate chips, and without stirring, let it stand for about 5 minutes.
- Use a whisk to smoothen out the mixture and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
- Combine egg, chia seeds, and chocolate mixture into a bowl.
- Add in bread cubes and place the mixture into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook the ingredients on low for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- When you insert the knife in the center and it comes out clean, turn off the slow cooker.
- Allow it to cool before serving.
