Ingredients

  • Yellow onion, roughly chopped – 1
  • Toasted walnuts
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Milk – 1¼ cup
  • Kabocha squash – 1 medium
  • Garlic, smashed – 2 cloves
  • Cream to taste
  • Cayenne pepper – ¼ teaspoon

Preparation

  • Cut the squash into wedges and get rid of the seeds. Cut the rind and dice it.
  • In a large pan, heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the diced squash into the pan alongside garlic and onion. Add a little salt to the pan and sauté the squash until it is browned and properly cooked through.
