You can add pomegranate seeds to really make it delicious, while adding a little apple will reduce the bitterness commonly associated with Brussels sprouts.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small apple, sliced, cored, and peeled
- 1 pint of cleaned Brussels sprouts, left whole
- 1 cup of pomegranate seeds
Preparation
- First preheat your oven to 375 degrees, and then toss some oil, apple and Brussels sprouts together in a bowl.
- Now take some aluminum foil and cover the cookie sheet evenly with the Brussels sprouts and apple mixture.
- Now uncover and roast them for 20 minutes and sprinkle some pomegranate seeds over them before serving.
