Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon extra- virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup shallots, choopped
- 2 cups grapefruit juice
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Heat 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
- Add shallots and cook until golden brown.
- Stir in juice.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until reduced to 1 cup.
- Remove from heat. Let cool.
- Place mixture in blender until smooth.
- Add olive oil slowly but surely.
