Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 (16-ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2-3 tbspn chili powder
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1 tspn pepper
  • 1 tspn cumin

Preparation

  1. Cook first 4 ingredients in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2.  Stir until beef crumbles and is cooked properly. Drain.
  3. Place in slow cooker.
  4. Stir beans and remaining ingredients.
  5. Cook on HIGH 3-4 hours or at LOW 5-6 hours.
