You can add pomegranate seeds to really make it delicious, while adding a little apple will reduce the bitterness commonly associated with Brussels sprouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small apple, sliced, cored, and peeled
  • 1 pint of cleaned Brussels sprouts, left whole
  • 1 cup of pomegranate seeds

Preparation

  1. First preheat your oven to 375 degrees, and then toss some oil, apple and Brussels sprouts together in a bowl.
  2. Now take some aluminum foil and cover the cookie sheet evenly with the Brussels sprouts and apple mixture.
  3. Now uncover and roast them for 20 minutes and sprinkle some pomegranate seeds over them before serving.
