Turns out, there are uses of cucumbers other than putting them on your eyes or in salads! Make this instant refresher of a drink for some healthy hydration.


  1. 1 English cucumber
  2. 3-4 tbsp Lemon juice
  3. 1 sprig Fresh mint
  4. 1 tbsp Sugar or to taste
  5. 1/3 cup Gin


  1. Peel, seed and chop about 2/3 of the cucumber, puree finely, strain into a bowl and chill.
  2. Combine the lemon juice, mint sprig and sugar in a pitcher and crush with a spatula or a pestle.
  3. Stir in the gin and cucumber juice top and off with cucumber slices and a leaf or two of mint.
