Spicy crab tacos are a sophisticated Mexican dish that’s surprisingly easy to prepare, so don’t let the long ingredient list intimidate you. Serve these spicy crab tacos to your family on a weeknight, or offer them as an appetizer at your next cocktail party.


  • 8 large flour tortillas, quartered
  • 2 large red radishes, diced
  • 1/2 of a red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • 2 teaspoons of Sriracha chile sauce
  • 1 large jalapeño pepper
  • 1/2 of a red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ of a yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped mint
  • 1/2 pound of lump crabmeat
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • Salt


Create a salsa by combining the radishes, tomatoes, red onion, 2 tablespoons of the cilantro, Sriracha, and a dash of salt.

Char the jalapeno, then remove its skin and chop it into small pieces. Combine it with the other peppers, as well as the lime juice, olive oil, mint, and remaining cilantro. Add crab meat and coat it with the mixture.

In another medium bowl, combine the jalapeño, red and yellow bell peppers, olive oil, lime juice, mint and the remaining 2 tablespoons of cilantro. Gently fold in the crabmeat and season with salt.

Grill tortillas until puffed. Top with crab mixture and salsa.
