How AMAZING and SIMPLE is this idea?

Although I know you’re eager to begin your Easter egg decorating, you’ll want to first follow these steps to make sure that you are painting hollow eggs. We wouldn’t want any egg yolk disasters now would we?

You’ll Need:

  • Eggs
  • A bowl to blow the egg yolks into
  • A needle or pin for making holes

Preparation:

Push straight down with a needle or pin to make a hole at the top center of the raw egg. Be careful not to break the egg. Then, flip egg over and repeat on other side.

Now for the fun part!

To empty egg: Place your lips around the hole on the top side of the egg and blow until the egg yolk and whites come out of the hole in the bottom.

To make it a bit easier, you can poke a hole in the membrane surrounding the egg and in the yolk with a toothpick.

Another tip: make the bottom hole slightly bigger than the top.

Now get to decorating!

For this chalkboard egg design, all you will need is some chalkboard paint and chalk.
