Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 red chilies (sliced and unseeded)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tsp of fennel seeds
  • 10 slices of fennel salami (chopped)
  • 140 grams of cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 400 grams of spaghetti
  • 33 grams of prawns (deveined and shells removed)

Breadcrumbs

  • 2 slices of bread (crumbed)
  • 1 large packet of parsley (chopped)
  • 1 zest of lemon

Preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 428 Fahrenheit.
  2. In a frying pan, heat 3 tbsp of oil.
  3. Add chilies, garlic, and sauté it for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add fennel seeds with salami and stir it for about 1 minute.
  5. Add tomatoes and some salt and sauté it for another 10 minutes.
  6. Put the breadcrumbs onto a baking sheet and drizzle the remaining oil on it.
  7. Season and bake them for about 7 minutes.
  8. Add in the garlic and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
  9. Remove the pan and add lemon zest and parsley.
  10. Cook the pasta in salted water for about 9 minutes.
  11. Heat the sauce, add in the prawns, and cook them.
  12. Drain the water of the pasta and incorporate the sauce.
  13. Serve warm.
