The stuffed Italian chicken is an appetizing dish, one that you can cook up at home when you are holding large gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of olives (chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp of mixed herbs (dried)
  • 200 grams of tub soft cheese (full fat)
  • 4 plump chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)
  • 4 tomatoes (sliced)
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 428 Fahrenheit.
  2. Beat the garlic, olives, and mixed herbs into the soft cheese, and then season it.
  3. Slit the side of each boneless chicken breast to turn into a pocket using the serrated knife.
  4. Stuff the pocket of chicken breast with the cheese mixture and press it to close it.
  5. Grease a baking tray and place the chicken breast on there.
  6. Season the chicken breast and place slices of tomato on them.
  7. Season again, sprinkle it with mixed herbs, and drizzle olive oil on top of it.
  8. Roast the chicken breasts for about 20 minutes.
  9. Serve it with garlic bread and salad.
